Chico Bean Biloxi reviews
Lot Better - Parking Lot that is!!
Unfortunately, the show fell short of foreplay, with the anticipation of a Chico Bean show always followed by an unbelievable climax. The night started off with a negative vibe, with the increasingly impatient crowd pressing all around, waiting for the arrival of the band while we remained corralled. An announcement to the adoring fans would have been appreciated, followed by a shortened set list with musical interludes long enough for them to drive back to Jersey, making it intolerable. Maynard could not be understood through most of the performance, including while he was simply speaking. High school AV studs should not be running the sound at a major venue, as one of our group actually walked out before the show was over. Lost in the mesmerizing videos and intertwined with the fantastic rhythmic waves felt throughout the venue, I also seem to breathe out yards of stress compressed inside my body. This was my first show at Verizon, and unfortunately, I could not tell if it is a decent venue to return to for another show, so I may refrain from selecting tickets here. I am still a huge Tool fan, but I will have to avoid their CDs for a time to recover.
